pIndex is a tool that creates indexes of protein database in fasta file format. Before the search engine pFind starts to run, the index created by pIndex must exist already. The index supplies the peptides to the search engine pFind to accelerate the search.

The main interface of pIndex is shown in Fig.1

You can set the parameters used in pIndex in the main part of the interface, the details of how to use pIndex is in the pIndex user guide. We also provide you with the video of how to use it.
