-          应用和发展统计和机器学习方法,解决重要的生物学问题。目前专注于计算蛋白质组学研究,包括蛋白质鉴定搜索引擎、翻译后修饰检测、搜索引擎重排序和统计评估等问题的算法研究和软件开发。
